Charles Smith who has been in failing health for a number of years and who has been critically ill for several weeks died on Tuesday morning. A brief funeral service at the home on Thursday morning was conducted by Rev. H. Hugo. Burial at Indiana Creek Cemetery. Mr. Smith was the son of Elias Smith and was born at the old Smith homestead in the Northern part of the township. He is survived by the widow, 3 sons and 3 brothers. He was a carpenter by trade and was a careful and painstaking workman. - typed by kbz
